What are Tax
Incentive Laws?

Tax incentive laws allow companies to allocate a portion of their owed taxes to support social, educational, cultural, sports, and other projects approved by the government.

In practice, instead of your company paying 100% of the tax directly to the government, part of that amount can be directed to projects that generate productive inclusion.

Explore the Acelera Toti project: a tax incentive project for companies

Acelera Toti is a Toti initiative that promotes vocational training and job market inclusion for refugees and migrants in socially vulnerable situations.

In addition to offering training in areas such as technology, marketing, and the creative economy, the project includes a Talent Fair to showcase trained professionals and facilitate connections with companies.

Through tax incentive laws, your company can direct a portion of your owed taxes to fund this project and generate social transformation.

Which laws can be used to support this project?

ISS Rio

Allows companies to allocate up to 20% of their owed tax to projects approved by the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Lei Rouanet

Enables companies taxed under the Real Profit regime to allocate up to 4% of their owed Income Tax to support cultural projects.

ICMS RJ

Authorizes companies to direct up to 3% of their tax to social and cultural projects approved by the state government.

Tax incentive laws for companies allow a portion of the owed tax to be allocated to projects approved by the competent authorities. When filing tax returns, the invested amount is reported and deducted from the tax payable, according to the limits set by law.

Yes. Supporting projects through tax incentives can be part of ESG initiatives, especially in the social pillar. In addition to generating positive impact, it also contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as quality education, gender equality, and reducing inequalities.

Refugees leave their home countries fleeing war, persecution, and violence, while migrants seek better life opportunities for themselves and their families. Both face major challenges from the moment they leave their countries.

Worldwide, there are more than 100 million forcibly displaced people, according to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

In Brazil, between 2015 and 2024, 454,165 applications for refugee status were registered, and the country is home to more than 1 million migrants, according to the Observatory of International Migrations (OBMigra).

By supporting this cause, your company helps reduce inequalities, promotes productive inclusion, and also achieves differentiated brand positioning in the market.

In addition to official reports, Toti shares beneficiary testimonials and impact indicators with supporting companies, allowing them to track the results and transformations generated by the project.
